First few days after lockdown

Room 7 has been publishing their beautiful 5 senses writing about their summer. We completed 4 sentences to describe an activity from our summer using taste, hearing, smell, and what we could see. 

We created this beautiful flip books to showcase our work. Feel free to come in and have a look when we are back at level 1. 

Being creative!!

 This afternoon we looked at our New Windsor Way competency Creative. We read a book about a better tomorrow and we decided to create our own inventions to help the planet. 

Ammaar has made a solar powered car.
Eri created a spaceship that feeds the homeless.
Adeline will plant more trees.
Emma has created a machine that will go in the sea and suck up the rubbish.
Keira’s machine will make new bikes out of recycled metal.
Azra has created a robot to help look after animals.
Ardeniz has created a car that runs of steam.

First few days!

 We have had a great start to the year. Yesterday we had fun getting to know each other through classmate bingo. We found out that no one in the class owned a rabbit but lots of us have a sibling. We have been working on our personal placemats for the last two days. Writing about what we like, our goals for the year and drawing a place we would like to visit.
