Of to Rio!!

In maths we are planning our own trips to Rio!
The students are in groups of 4 and have to plan a trip to the Olympics. They have to work out how much their trip would cost including:
* accommodation
*food
*flights
*tickets

It is a great way for the students to apply their maths knowledge to help them solve a problem and allows them to develop their skills in working in a team.

    I want to go to Rio with room 19. I will even pay for my own ticket.
    This is such an exciting way to learn about maths as well as the Olympics !!
