Letters from the RSA

Last term we decided to write thank you letters to New Lynn RSA. The students loved writing to them and were eagerly checking the message bag each day for replies.

This week we were shocked to receive a huge package. The students waited eagerly to see what was in the box. We were amazed to find that we had received over 50 replies for members at the RSA. The students were so overwhelmed and felt such joy in knowing someone took the time to reply to them. We found out some amazing facts about the members and the students shared all day about the person they had received a letter from.

A visit from a vet!

We were lucky enough to have Zach's mum come into class this Friday and show us all the amazing things a vet gets to do.
We saw some excellent X-rays, the students had great fun trying to guess which animals they were. The one they were most fascinated by was a Labrador that had eaten a whole tub of screws.

After we saw all the X-rays we were able to try on the surgical clothing and listen to our heart beats. We had such an amazing time and we are very grateful to Anna for coming in a sharing with us. If you would like to come in and share with the class it would be amazing!
